The Speech & Stuttering Institute is pleased to share this information on behalf of the Speech Fluency Lab regarding their Fluency Research at the University of Toronto:
At the Speech Fluency Lab, University of Toronto, we are currently conducting a study of movement behaviour in children and adults who do and do not stutter. Through this research, we aim to better understand the nature of stuttering in both children and adults, and ultimately improve treatment.
We are looking for children between the ages of 4 and 6 years and between 9 and 11 years, as well as adults between 20 and 45 years of age, to participate.
If you stutter, or have a child who stutters, and are interested in participating, we’d love to hear from you. We are inviting participants to attend four research sessions over a two-week period, with the first two and last two sessions coupled one day after the other. Participation in this study is completely voluntary and you may decide to stop participating at any time.
To learn more about the study and see if you or your child would qualify to participate, please contact Fiona Höbler at 416-946-8635 or by email at fluencylabto@gmail.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
